Privacy Policy Land Marketing Australia Pty Ltd ABN 41 635 577 007 Effective Date: July 2026 Last Updated: April 2026We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).From 1 July 2026, we are a reporting entity under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act) (Tranche 2 reforms). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose and protect your personal information, including for our real estate services and to meet our AML/CTF obligations (customer due diligence, record-keeping, reporting, etc.).1. What personal information do we collect?We may collect:• Contact details (name, postal/residential address, email, phone number)• Identification information required for AML/CTF customer due diligence (e.g. driver’s licence, passport, Medicare card, date of birth, proof of address)• Beneficial ownership and control information (for companies, trusts or partnerships)• Financial and source-of-funds/wealth information (where required under AML/CTF rules)• Property transaction details, offers, contracts, and related correspondence• Any other information you provide to us or that we need to provide real estate services2. How do we collect your personal information?We collect it directly from you (in person, by phone, email, forms, or our website) or from third parties where permitted by law (e.g. government databases for identity verification, referrers, or other professionals in the transaction).3. Why do we collect, use and hold your personal information?We collect and use it to:• Provide real estate services (listing, selling, buying, renting, property management)• Comply with our AML/CTF obligations from 1 July 2026, including:o Customer due diligence and identity verification (KYC)o Ongoing monitoring of transactionso Assessing and managing money-laundering and terrorism-financing riskso Keeping records for at least 7 yearso Reporting suspicious matters or other required reports to AUSTRAC• Comply with other legal obligations (e.g. real estate laws, tax laws)• Manage and improve our business operations• Communicate with you about our services (with your consent where required)We will only use or disclose your information for the purposes above, or with your consent, or where required or authorised by law.4. How do we store and secure your personal information?We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.• Secure cloud storage: We use Dropbox to store client files and documents securely.• Dropbox applies industry-standard security: 256-bit AES encryption at rest and TLS encryption in transit.• Access to your files is restricted to authorised personnel only.• We maintain an up-to-date AML/CTF program (including data security measures) as required from 1 July 2026.All AML/CTF records are kept securely for the minimum 7-year period required by law.5. Who do we disclose your personal information to?We may disclose it to:• Our service providers (including Dropbox and other IT/cloud providers, accountants, or professional advisers) who help us deliver services or meet legal obligations• AUSTRAC and other regulators when required for AML/CTF compliance (e.g. suspicious matter reports)• Other parties as required or authorised by law (e.g. courts, police, or government agencies)• Professional advisers or other parties in a property transaction (e.g. conveyancers, lawyers, mortgage brokers) with your consent or as necessaryWe do not sell your personal information.6. Overseas disclosure of personal information (APP 8)We use Dropbox, a service provider whose servers are primarily located in the United States (with possible storage in Australia or other countries depending on the plan).Before disclosing your information to Dropbox or any overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps (including entering into a data-processing agreement) to ensure they handle your personal information in a way that does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles. We remain accountable for any acts or practices of the overseas recipient that would breach the APPs.7. Your rights – access, correction and complaintsYou have the right to:• Request access to the personal information we hold about you• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information• Complain about how we have handled your informationTo exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
